School day trip rescued by BJB Lift Trucks

An end of term day trip for the foundation class at Enfield Primary School, New Waltham, was in danger of being axed to due transport costs. The staff had organised a trip to Jungle World in Cleethorpes for youngest members of the school. However, soaring transport costs had put the excursion in jeopardy. Therefore, BJB Lift Trucks came to the rescue with the Cleethorpes Town FC minibus.

BJB Lift Trucks purchased the minibus in 2012 as part of their support for the junior teams at Cleethorpes Town Football Club. When director, Pete Harvey, heard of the plight of the children at his local primary school, he offered to help with the transport. BJB’s head of marketing, Nikki Hale, was the designated driver for the day and safely delivered the tiny tots to Jungle World. The children had been learning about evolution at school so they were able to have some “hands-on” experience with the animals and insects at Jungle World.
