Golfers will be heading to Waltham Windmill Golf Club on Friday 27th May 2016 for the 3rd annual Humberston Hydrotherapy Pool Golf Day. The day, held in association with BJB Lift Trucks, has grown steadily in popularity and the 2015 event was one of the largest charity golf days in the region.

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of golfers, sponsors and raffle prize donors, the previous events have raised nearly £18,000.00 for the local registered charity. Event organiser and BJB operations manager, David Hale, explained:”The Humberston Hydrotherapy Pool Appeal is a charity very close to my heart and works tirelessly to provide facilities for children who have profound and multiple disabilities. I have seen first hand the positive benefits the children get from using the pool and its physio hub, but also the respite it gives to their families and carers. I think this charity really resonates with the local people because without their support it wouldn’t be there.”

Brian Marsh, chairman of trustees for the Humberston Hydrotherapy Pool Appeal, commented:”The amazing support from David and the team at BJB Lift Trucks over the past couple of years has been much appreciated and we are delighted they are supporting us again in 2016. They work very hard to put on a great day for all involved and raise the profile of this marvellous facility.”

Mr Hale added:”This event has been over-subscribed for the past 2 years so we would urge anyone wishing to enter a team to do so without delay.” To download an entry form CLICK HERE
