BJB support growth at Humber LEP launch

Representatives from BJB Lift Trucks joined other regional industry leaders at the launch of the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership’s latest round of funding. The prestigious event, held at the refurbished Baths Hall in Scunthorpe, saw MP’s, councillors and business leaders networking before a series of informative speeches.

The packed hall heard from Minister of State at the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, Michael Fallon MP and Lord Haskins of the huge potential for growth in the Humber region and the amount of funding that will be available to support this. More detailed speeches followed from council leaders on how companies could apply for the regional growth funding that has been earmarked for the Humber.

BJB Head of Marketing, Nikki Hale, attended the event with colleagues and commented afterwards, “There’s such a positive vibe in the Humber region at the moment. Whilst we are not applying for direct funding ourselves, we have companies in our client portfolio who will be applying and we want them to know BJB Lift Trucks are ready to support their growth with additional equipment and training.”
