David Hale, Renewables Operations Manager for BJB Lift Trucks, played Santa when he delivered an early Christmas present to the Dong Energy Race Bank project. Keen to support local charities, BJB were happy to respond to a call from valued clients, Dong Energy, to help with their Christmas charity collection. Dong Energy’s chosen charity this year is Doorstep – a local organisation that helps the homeless.

Robyn Smaggasgale, site support for Dong Energy Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm, explained, “We’re so pleased BJB Lift Trucks offered to support our collection this year. Doorstep helps the homeless people in the local area and this year they are hoping to provide some Christmas cheer for the young people living in its shared houses. The donation of a Christmas tree from BJB will certainly go down well!”

David Hale added, “Dong Energy are always very good at supporting our charity golf day for the Humberston Hydrotherapy Pool so it’s nice to be able to give back and support something they are doing!”
