BJB celebrates 1st anniversary with Nissan Forklift

Its hard to believe a year has passed since Grimsby-based materials handling firm BJB Lift Trucks announced its partnership with Nissan Forklift GB.

The momentous event was marked with a brand launch day held at Blundell Park, home of Grimsby Town Football Club. Many shapes and sizes of Nissan Forklift equipment lined the ground and it gave clients the opportunity to get a hands on experience of the range.

During the past year, BJB operational staff have undergone extensive training on the full range of Nissan Forklift equipment. On the sales front, BJB have distributed equipment throughout their widespread client portfolio which stretches from Fort William in Scotland to Penzance in Cornwall.

The strength of BJB’s team now enables them to service both local and national accounts. Operations Manager, David Hale explained, “our ability to handle client accounts of any size has seen us gain some really important fleet deals. We have recently been able to supply a complete fleet of Nissan trucks to an operational site in Redcar. As we have an established team of mobile service engineers, knowledgable parts team and experienced operator training department, we are able to give 24/7 support to sites like the one at Redcar.”

Being able to offer another manufacturer’s range of equipment in addition to the extensive range of materials handling equipment already available in the BJB portfolio, has brought new clients to the BJB’s customer base.

BJB are please to be associated with the award-winning Nissan Forklift brand which, they feel, offers the client a great choice of warehouse and outdoor specifications. The new range of LPG gas powered trucks have been particularly popular as they offer superior fuel economy and low emission levels. David Hale said, “Nissan Forklift are improving their range all the time and some of their equipment now boasts 1000 hour service intervals. Reliability like this can significantly reduce equipment downtime and operational costs for our clients.”
