BJB Lift Trucks service technician Ben Ward will be hoping to land a knockout blow for cancer when he takes to the ring for his first fight in April. Ben, who started out as an apprentice with the Grimsby based materials handling equipment experts, joined the Ultra White Collar Boxing club to improve his own physical fitness and raise money for charity. The forthcoming fight night, which takes place at Grimsby Leisure Centre on Sunday 3rd April 2016, is being held to raise money for Cancer Research.

Ben, who trains with the Grimsby Freestyle Kickboxing gym, commented: “It’s easy to join a conventional gym to get fit but I wanted more of challenge. I’m really enjoying the training sessions and looking forward to my first fight in April. I also like the fact I can use the event to raise money for a worthwhile charity like Cancer Research. BJB Lift Trucks have provided the initial sponsorship and I shall be proudly wearing their logo on my shirt during the fight.”

There’s an early bird discount on tickets which will be £20.00 until the end of February. After that the tickets will be £30.00. There’s also the opportunity to book a VIP table for 10 for only £350.00. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite Book Here.
