The future is looking bright for BJB Lift Trucks as they continue to strengthen staff numbers with 5 apprentices. Their busy service department is currently nurturing 3 apprentices with Tim Flowers, Sam Harvey and Samirah Goodey (pictured). Tim is 2 years into his apprenticeship and, like Sam and Samirah following in his footsteps, regularly attends training sessions at North Warwickshire and Hinkley College. Both Tim and Sam are also following in their father’s footsteps, as they are the offspring of BJB owners Phil Flowers and Peter Harvey. Phil and Peter both started their careers as engineers and gradually climbed the ladder to become business owners.

Samirah has recently joined the BJB team and is interested in the electrical aspects of forklift maintenance. She joins BJB’s other 2 female apprentices, Beth Cope and Lucy Harrison, who are following Kaplan accountancy apprenticeships. Director, Phil Flowers, commented, “We are very proud of all our apprentices as they represent the future of our business. They get a lot of support from other members of our teams and they have integrated well into our business.”
